Saving Endangered Species
Over the years, we've had many experiences saving, handling, and caring for many endangered species of animals. See the gallery below for some examples of our past.
First photo below from left to right: Burt Wahl, Tony Ierardo, Jim Fowler
Burt Wahl the founder of the non-profit organization, Save The Florida Panthers.
Tony & Patty both have over 25 years of experience training, and breeding a variety of exotic animals. Their main focus are exotic birds such as Pionus parrots & Holland Lop dwarf rabbits, Patty's Pets, LLC.
Jim Fowler made over 300 TV shows with Marlin Perkins Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. That show aired for 23 years every week. Jim was a regular guest on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson for over several decades.
Today most of the younger crowds have heard of Jack Hanna. But Jim Fowler was the real deal! With life or death at every turn he traveled and slept in the jungles across the world, not hotels.
Have you ever heard of the phrase, Jungle Jim?
Even though we had all expenses paid, plane flights, hotels, etc. Jim was a down to earth person and insisted that we stayed the night at his home. While visiting he told us many stories and showed me several of his scars, bites form Piranhas, Anacondas, to vampire bats, etc. Jim was able to do what no one today has done. In the wild, unscripted, Jim manhandled some of the most dangerous animals around the world. He even climb down cliffs with only a rope, no fancy mountain gear, to capture a Condor bare handed.
Sadly Jim Fowler has since passed and will be greatly missed. A must watch video below!
